Transformation of the In-Patient Unit at The Rowans Hospice completed

The Rowans Hospice opened in October 1994 as a bespoke-designed, independent hospice for the provision of palliative in-patient and day care for life limiting illnesses. The hospice serves the city of Portsmouth and surrounding south east Hampshire, and the building is also used to support patients’ families and as a base for education.

Second stage of ward refurbishment at the Rowans Hospice handed over

We have just handed over the second stage of the ward refurbishment at the Rowans Hospice, delivering a further eight en suite bedrooms for patients. This stage has also included the refurbishment of a specialist bathroom, as well as creation of additional storage, meeting spaces and snugs for use by the ward staff and relatives.

Stonepillow was formed in 1989 and works to support and empower homeless and vulnerable people to achieve sustainable independence and wellbeing in the area covered by Chichester and Arun District Councils.

Planning permission granted for two storey extension to church hall of 13th century grade I listed St Margaret’s Church, Ifield

Following a planning committee meeting on 29 September, lasting late into the evening, we are delighted to have received permission on behalf of the parish of St Margaret’s Church, Ifield, Crawley, West Sussex for the demolition of the existing single storey annexe and new build of a two storey extension to the church hall.
