As part of an ongoing relationship with our client, we worked with them to develop a scheme to completely transform this grade II listed inn, obtaining planning and listed building consent that included additional accommodation in the grounds and South Downs National Park. Technical assistance was also provided during the build.

The inn re-opened in December 2018, with the additional accommodation building completed in February 2019.

The project was a 2019 Sussex Heritage Trust award winner in the commercial category.
