Works have now begun on the modernisation and refurbishment of the ward areas within the Rowans Hospice, Purbrook.

The first of three phases is scheduled to be completed in early 2021 at a cost of £2.6m, with the current focus on site being the reconfiguration of a central courtyard and the construction of two new patient rooms and a day area.
